Christmas tree is up, and Ishypoo's stuffed POOH BEAR got to do the star tree topper. If it wasn't so funny to make a stuffed toy do that... I would have fallen apart. Instead my eyes ached and filled up. Our 3yr old son's first Christmas in Heaven...

Tree is up, now what? What makes this Christmas feel "right"? The couples in Connecticut... I know what the rest of their week had in store, the ar...

rangements... The shopping for their child's burial dress, suit, tie, and shoes (instead of Christmas party outfits)... Flowers, child-sized casket, burial plot, cards that speak to feelings that can't be expressed fully enough. The gulp caught in the throat and the hole where the heart was beating. The scratch to the scalp, can't make sense of the fact that the order of things is reversed. "I raised this child, prayed for this child, nurtured, fed, clothed, ran to the rescue of this dear child... Now gone too soon!! Too soon!!!"

I'm counting on God to birth a miracle once more, inside of all of us. True peace, hope, and joy... At a time when the words seem far more than foreign.

Come to our rescue, Father, we are lost and we are hurting.

I'm really excited to do a second part of my very first book, BITTER. I don't want to reveal too much too soon, but this book gives an update on where my first book left off, with just as much... if not more... Stephanie humor in it :0) I will start my illustrations and cover design soon. I absolutely love this, I was made to do this!!!
